Selina was a surprise model, since an agent friend of mine threw her into the mix one test shoot afternoon. I'm such a sucker for Asian beauty so having this Fil-Korean in the studio was a lucky bonus for me. I was just scheduled to shoot two (2) girls that afternoon through Raffy, but had no qualms adding her into the queue. So instead of forcing an Asian concept on the other models, Selina was quick shoe-in for this. Brought out props and wardrobe from other past shoots and thought of combining it into one layout. I also passed by the department store for fake Sakura for that additional accent.

I would love to work with Selina on more Asian-themed concepts in the future.

This was also the first time I got to use the 5D Mark 4 straight from the box. I know it's been awhile between this post and when I got the camera, but shows the quick learning curve if you're coming from the previous Mark 3. I got to use the camera right away without having to open up the manual. The basic functions and controls are kept the same. You get to stick to your routine and habits and then some. The color on this camera certainly tops off from its previous version as the tones gradually slide from each other. I also like how much you can push details against its dynamic range. Good details left on the blacks and whites.
