LVX Management regularly has fly-in models for their rotating pool of talents. Here’s Angelica who just arrived several weeks ago. Since Brazil is a melting pot of several ethnicities, it’s quite hard to pinpoint who is Brazilian based on looks alone. Angelica is on the Caucasian side (German I think), but is a genuine born and raised Brazzie. Either which way, she is still pretty and quite the trooper to work with.
Raffy is back to doing full-time production work, hence the highly conceptualized shoots have started again. He wanted to combine his mom’s Filipiniana design with a Día de Muertos-inspired look. With innocent and angelic features (pun intended), combined with Angelica’s day of the dead make-up gave off that doll-like finish. The marionette body language was something she eventually imbibed when posing for the images. As for the image treatment, I was looking at those old turn of the 20th century portraits when the camera was still a novelty piece of technology. The draping background also help add to the overall look.
