I got Joana from a model friend’s referral. In the course of our conversations (getting a schedule down, etc…), she mentioned being part of the EB Babes (a girl group appearing regularly in a noon time show) a couple of years back. Out of curiosity I dug out an old shoot for FHM in my archives, and found this cover shoot I did back in 2007. It’s really blast from the past shoot since the venue was still in (the now defunct club) Embassy.
As it turned out, I already did a shoot with her, almost a decade ago.
So this shoot turned out to be a coincidental reunion of sorts. I went back to my favorite outdoor location, but instead of working around the house, I thought of taking shots around the property. The weather was overcast, humid and bordering on rain. Which did fall several times through out the day. We managed to bag in some shots between downpours. We felt like cooked dimsum in a steamer.
